Reasons why emails bounce back

Emails can bounce back for several reasons, including:

  • Incorrect email address: The recipient’s email address may be incorrect, causing emails to bounce back.
  •  Full inbox: The recipient’s inbox may be full, causing incoming emails to bounce back to the sender.
  • Email server downtime: The recipient’s email server may be temporarily down, causing emails to bounce back.
  • Blocked email address: The recipient’s email provider or email server may have blocked the sender’s email address, causing emails to bounce back.
  • Email size limit: The recipient’s email server may have a limit on the size of emails it can receive, and emails exceeding this limit will bounce back.
  • Email content: The recipient’s email server may have filters that block emails with certain types of content, such as attachments or certain words, causing them to bounce back.
  • Email client issues: There may be an issue with the recipient’s email client, such as incorrect email settings or a software bug, causing emails to bounce back.
  • Email server configuration: The recipient’s email server may have incorrect configuration, causing emails to bounce back.

To resolve the issue, you can verify the recipient’s email address, check that their inbox is not full, and ensure that your email content and size are within the recipient’s email server’s limits. If the issue persists, you may need to reach out to the recipient or their email administrator for further assistance.
