Transfer your domain from GoDaddy to Buzinessware

Step 2: Verify and update your contact information:

Step 4: Obtain GoDaddy Auth/EPP Code:

  • Access your GoDaddy Domain Control Center by Signing in.
  • Click on your domain name to go directly to the Domain Settings page and choose it.
  • Establish Transfer domain away from GoDaddy under Extra Settings.
  • Select Continue with the transfer after reviewing the transfer checklist.
  • You must provide the IPS tag for your new registrar if your domain ends, after which you must choose Complete Transfer.
  • To copy your authorization code, first, choose to Click here to view the authorization code, then select Copy to Clipboard. Your authorization code should also be emailed to you by GoDaddy at the administrative email address associated with your domain name.
  • To return to your list of domains, select My Domains.

Step 5: Unlock GoDaddy Domain:

  • You need to locate the Domain lock status by scrolling down to the Additional Settings section.
  • If the domain lock is active, click Edit and then turn the toggle off to unlock the domain.
  • Click the checkbox to confirm unlocking the domain in the notice, and then click Continue.
  • Next to Domain lock, a notification about pending updates shows. This implies your domain unlock request is being processed by GoDaddy.
  • To unlock your domain, turn the symbol from ON to OFF.
  • Click Continue. After selecting yes, you agree to unlock the desired domain.
  • When the domain is unlocked, the Lock column will update to read OFF:
  • After you are done, you should let the modifications up to an hour to finish.
  • Your domain can be transferred to Buzinessware after it has been unlocked.

Update GoDaddy Nameservers to point to Buzinessware:

The processing time is required for the domain transfer. It is a good idea to link your domain to the Buzinessware nameservers or through an A record to the IP address. It provides to you in your welcome email so that you can begin building your website as soon as your previous provider, in this case, GoDaddy releases the domain to Buzinessware. While your domain is being transferred, changing your name servers could result in the transfer failing.   • Please make the following changes to your GoDaddy nameservers so that they now point to Buzinessware.
  • Click the GoDaddy Domain Control Center and log in.
  • To join the Domain Settings page, choose your domain.
  • In the Extra Settings area, choose Manage DNS.
  • In the Nameservers section, click Change.
  • Select the option and add your nameservers.
  • Enter the nameservers that Buzinessware provided for you.
  • Select Connect or Save.
  • Check the box next to it by clicking. Yes, you agree to the nameserver update for the chosen domain.

They advise against altering your DNS configuration or establishing a Google Workspace email account while your move is in progress. Await the completion of the domain transfer before adding any additional integration. You will get a Thank you email from Buzinessware once the domain is entirely transferred, and a green label will display next to it in the Domains panel.
