What is a CMS?

A web application or collection of tools used to create and manage web content is known as a content management system (CMS).
(Note: site builders like Squarespace or Wix are not the same as CMSs.)

Using a CMS simplifies the process even though it is not necessary to develop a website.
It offers the building elements (such as plugins and add-ons) and enables you to write the code to build the framework.
CMSs are helpful for all types of websites, although they are frequently used for blogging and e-commerce.
