How To Connect using Putty to a Linux Server

  1. Download putty.exe ( 64-bit ) from   https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html
  2. Execute the downloaded putty.exe file.
  3. Enter the server IP address in Host Name ( or IP address ) box of putty.
  4. If SSH port of the server is different that put the SSH port in Port box or leave it empty for the default ssh port (  i.e 22 ).
