A cloud server is a virtual infrastructure that performs application and information-processing storage. It is primarily an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) based cloud service model. Cloud servers are created using virtualization software to divide a physical (bare metal) server into multiple virtual servers. It also offers the advantages of increased accessibility and reliability, seamless scalability and potential cost savings, as customers are freed from having to invest in on-premises servers and hardware, and they pay only for the resources they consume.
